The location was mind-blowing, just a short stroll from the castle and bustling shopping street. The facilities were super, with a clean and enjoyable bath area featuring hot and cold tubs, a sauna, and even a small outdoor space. The spacious room for the price was jaw-dropping and the small onsen with sauna was a pleasant surprise. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the free breakfast, although just okay, was a great start to the day with nice coffee and buns. The prolonged stay policy was also a plus, as was the fairly good location near the tram station. The public bathroom had clean water and the toilets were okay, never too crowded. The hotel offered convenient amenities like wi-fi, luggage storage, a locker room, 24-hour reception, laundry, and a flat-screen TV. The lift made it easy to access the rooms, and having an electric kettle in the room was a nice touch. It was also great that the hotel didn't allow pets, and the air conditioning ensured a comfortable stay. There was also a strict no smoking policy on site.

The breakfast was fresh and good, I truly enjoyed a lot of food they served. the staff was fairly friendly and attentive during all this time. - Marvellous location right in the shopping district of Kumamoto made it easy to get to key attractions.

Good standard hotel, I appreciated free breakfast!

the staff was really friendly and very very nice, the hotel was perfectly clean and placed in a central part of the city close to the castle, the shopping district and the bus terminal. the location was good and marvellous - just 5 minutes' walk from shimotori shotengai. it also was outside of the train station. i booked a private capsule for 3 nights and had a great stay. the bed was exceptionally comfortable and i had a shared bathroom.

We were there for 3 days, everything was beautiful, appreciated its nice location just off the shopping street and trains and shopping area. Fresh made and free breakfast, the food was good!

The rooms with TVs and cosmetics were exceptionally clean and brand-new, making the stay very comfortable.

I chose Carna A because it's conveniently located near Kumamoto Castle, a landmark I really wanted to visit. But I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's sauna and complimentary wireless internet. The public baths were also a nice feature.

The location was great, just a short walk from Kenmotsu Daijumoku Garden. the staff was very attentive and friendly. - the breakfast was fresh and offered a nice variety of options.

Incorrect signage in chinese and english.

The capsules at Carna A were surprisingly spacious and provided a designated area for luggage storage. The bath area with hot and cold water tubs and sauna was enjoyable, and the hotel's location was relatively good. The breakfast, although not buffet-style, included a plate with omelette, sausage, salad.

The capsules in the female area were uncomfortably hot, and the beds were a bit hard for my European preferences. Some of the staff struggled with English communication, and there were issues with the hotel's Wi-Fi accessibility.

As longer term business travelers, we were impressed by the range of amenities provided. the hotel offered complimentary pajamas, towels, and toiletries, making our stay extremely comfortable. the cleanliness of the rooms was outstanding, especially considering the number of women sharing the same space. the capsules were surprisingly spacious and there was a designated luggage area.

my stay at the hotel in kumamoto was great. carna a exceeded my expectations with its central location, friendly staff, and comfortable capsules. i loved the clean facilities and the added bonus of toiletries provided. i will definitely stay again.
